Christmas carols without borders/La Posada sin Fronteras

The 16th annual Posada Sin Fronteras was more ironic and sadder than ever. On the United States side participants had to be escorted by Homeland Insecurity and only 25 of the 50 or so people were allowed to approach The Wall, the rest kept behind the 2nd wall some 25 yards behind. More than speaking truth to power it was submission to power; more than an affirmation of friendship at "Friendship Park" it was an affirmation of division.

La 16a Posada Sin Fronteras era mas ironica y triste que nunca. En el lado de los Estados Unidos la gente fue acompañado por la migra y solo 25 de mas o menos 50 fueron permitidos cerca la barda, lo demas se quedaron atras el segundo muro 25 metros atras. Mas que hablar la verdad a poder fue someter al poder; mas que la afirmacion de amistad en "el parque de amistad," fue la afirmacion de dividir.
